One blood hidden image is a group with five members of a Torres Strait islander descent.

The Torres Strait Island is a group of Tropical Island located at the tip of Queensland, between the borders of Australia and Papua New Guinea. The Torres Strait is sub-divided into five different island regions; The Top western, near western, Eastern, Central and Inner Islands. Each member represents one of these island groups through family heritage; however each member is also connected to the other island groups by marriage or some other significant cultural connection throughout their family history. Therefore we represent the voice of the Torres Straits and Torres Strait as a whole by saying: we all are from the same bloodline, with no 1 image “One Blood Hidden Image”.

 

 

Our aim is to create opportunities from our experiences and make a positive impact and change within ourselves and  inspire and influence others with our talents. We encourage the youth especially the ones in remote areas and show them that it doesn’t matter where you are from and where you live, if you strive hard enough and work hard enough, you can achieve anything and that talent and dreams should not be ignored and taken for granted, because you just might have the talent to make a difference in your community.
